First off, the "fig heather" color is quite dark and appears dark brown or a weathered black in some lighting. Also, the cowl neck is very deep and might require several foldings/drapings. Lastly, the crossover back is indeed split, such that I will wear a dark cami beneath it. None of these is a negative for me, however. The knit drapes very well and the shaping is flattering. Great buy!

I liked the style in the picture and color is a nice deep reddish purple but the fit was not terribly flattering on me. It fit ok through the shoulders and chest but there was no tapering at the upper waistline (unlike the photo) so it just hung like a circus tent on me. The fabric seems like a nice quality wool and is somewhat thick (as compared to something like a jersey knit), soft and would be quite warm.
