I 'm surprised how often I slip these babies on, why not they go with everything !! These are great for tights, skinny jeans, and casual dresses. I picked up some sheep skin liners for extra warmth for our Canadian winters, and bonus these boots have great traction for snow and ice. The price can't be beat, for only $59.99, and most retailers sell for over $200.00. Not sure why they are called factory seconds because i can't find one thing wrong with them!!

I went with manufacturers size chart. I have a wide foot and they fit nice with socks. My feet don't feel crammed. I've been looking for a "workbook" shoe that had a little feminine flare. The minor detail around the elastic gore does that. They are not as hard to get on as they look. The elastic helps a lot with that. A narrower foot might not enjoy this style boot as much as a wide or regular foot. Quality comfy and sturdy boot.

Good BootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by SF P from san francisco on Friday, October 13, 2017The only possible indication that these are seconds was a 1/2" scuff on the side of one boot, and on the front toes of each boot there was a 1/4" slightly sticky area where the sole meets the leather, perhaps a bit of glue? Both of these imperfections have disappeared with wear. Right boot feels ever so slightly smaller, but that could be my feet. I'm a size 8 (sometimes 7.5), and these seem true to size, can also wear medium to heavy weight socks with them. The top part of the boot does tend to hit the front of my ankle, but with socks it is not a problem. I think the original 500 series are a little more open at the top. I bought these as utilitarian gardening boots, and they are perfect for that, while having a bit of style. They are easy to slip on and off, they are comfortable and sturdy. At this much lower price, they really are a fantastic purchase. Thank you Sierra Trading Post.
