I bought the dark blue and placed a wet on in the laundry basket, and the dye bled onto lighter items.

These are on the lighter side in terms of weight, but that makes them easier to wash and dry, and they still feel very nice and absorb water well. Although they are light, they are of very high quality.

I hate hand towels that are too short and fall easily off the towel rack. The indigo is a bit darker than I expected - almost black. So they don't go as well with the colors in the bathroom, but for the price, I'm keeping them as they're a steal for an organic cotton towel of this quality.
