It's light enough that it will pack down easily and not be *too* hot for removing summer chill, but should also be warm enough for the plane and other over-air conditioned places. Plus it's so soft and snuggly—I've wanted to wear it every day since ordering!

Even on me, they come to the middle of my hand and I LOVE it. The sweater is very big and I would definitely order a size down. My only complaint is that the meshy part on the sleeve snags too easily. I rinsed it out on delicate cycle before wearing it and the first time I put it on, there was a hole in the sleeve. :( I sewed it up, but it shouldn't have gotten a hole that fast. However, it's so comfy (and did I mention how long the sleeves are?) that I'm thinking about buying another.
