I ordered these a size down and the fit is perfect and comfortable. They're a really dark denim so I washed them in cold water first so that the color doesn't bleed on my underpants. The built in elastic waistband is great too so there is no binding if you're a little chubby around the middle like I am. I havent b worn them yet but just from trying them on, I can tell they'll be fine when I do wear them.

Size 18 runs a bit large, so returned for a 16. The waist isn't low, unfortunately, but it's not too high, either.
Thank heavens these aren't skinny leg, mongo Budunkadunk, high-waisted Mom jeans. -
