I ordered the XL and they were fall down big. I have previously tried these same pants in a store in size large and they were a bit snug. I tried black ones in the store and the ones I ordered here were safety orange so maybe there is a difference in fit between colors.

My mom is in her late 80s and she likes the fit and cuff on the legs. These were not too snug but would keep her from tripping. The material was thicker than I thought it would be. May not be great for outdoors in summer but will be excellent in fall and spring (and a/c movie theaters in summer)

I just didn't ever choose to wear them. So I ordered the gray, and it is truly the dull putty gray as pictured. I finally decided to keep the orange (octane) color and returned the green and gray pairs.

I have trouble finding pants (that aren’t leggings) that fit me well, that have enough room in the thighs/seat and aren’t too large in the waist. These fit the bill, and are super comfortable to boot. I use them for climbing, so the fact that they aren’t the most flattering is not really an issue. I knocked off a star for that, in addition to the following: I wish they came up a bit higher in the back, and there’s a bit of pilling on the inner thighs.

Also, the pants looked less like casual clothes and more like performance sports wear in hand. Did not try on; returned.
