I deduct one star because the leather is a little thin, and leaves me a bit vulnerable to thorns and the like. However, the gloves were a great deal and will do the job for quite awhile I suspect.

I like to get XL and these were fine. Because the leather can stretch a bit I was good to go. I priced out some at a local store and they were close to $20/pair. I love a good bargain and there are usually lots on STP.
Very good quality and for the price they are still less than cheap ones you can buy at local chain hardware stores IMHO. :-)

A whole lot nicer than the similar gloves I have been buying for years. Super soft and comfy. Not sure how long they will hold up but judging from the quality, they should easily outlast what I have been buying. Even if they don't last longer than what I had been buying, for what I paid for them........who cares? I highly recommend these gloves.

The deerskin is very soft and the gloves are well made and true to size. These will last for years if not repeatedly exposed to water.
