These are heavy duty straps that should hold luggage together to finish a trip or lash down cargo to a roof rack. They have plastic buckles, so you can't use them to tow a car, but I am pretty sure that they will hold up for tying down cargo, or holding down stuff in the back of a pickup truck. And they were very affordable!
