They fit well, move well, and seem very well made. If you need more coverage, then these would not be the best choice since they are cut high and loose (though with a built-in panty).
I will enjoy running/hiking/gardening in these. -

Very light weight and move easily for running. Also wore them on a boat, and they handled the water well. Small zippered pocket on the back perfect for a key or card, doesn't feel heavy enough to hold a phone though.

So they're not the most modest shorts, but the fabric is SO soft and comfortable. I wore them all day and there was no discomfort or chafing or anything, just comfort. We even walked 6+ miles during the day. I probably will just wear them to lounge at home though because I don't want to risk "showing off" in public.

I felt like a breeze could come by and flip them up. They're definitely not something I'd feel comfortable doing any physical activity in.
