Definitely reminds me of my grandma's sock monkey which adds another level of nostalgia and good feelings. The knit is a looser knit --not lacey, can't see through it, but it's not a tight knit. Seems like it will be warm but I will wear either a tank or t-shirt under it.

Not too bulky, and the sleeves and torso plenty long. Not sure how it will wash.

Perhaps, not for a super "cold day" and not the softest garment you've ever worn, but comfy, cute and fits just perfectly. I bought a medium for my 5'91/2 height and 140 weight.
