I ordered an XL because I’m size 40 chest. I’m going to wear my old jacket for now until I lose about 10 pounds in order to fit into this one. The shawl collar is a bonus because it adds extra warmth around the neckline. The sleeves are long enough - I have very long arms. The size is right on. No need to order smaller or larger for fit. I would highly recommend this coat for cold Wyoming winters!
