1.0 out of 5 stars. Burnt up before any real useReviewed by Salmonoid from Pennsylvania on Wednesday, January 17, 2018I purchased this item to throw in my fishing backpack or vest, for the inevitable time I'm on the water after dark and need a light, and the light accidentally takes a dunking. I used it one time - to see how far the light shown and how bright it was in my back yard. I went to move the light to my flashlight/headlamp box tonight and found it would not turn on. Thinking the batteries may be dead, I removed the lens and found that the back of the contact to the batteries had some charred looking stuff around and and that the LED had become disconnected from the small circuit board it was attached to. No idea what happened, but I'm glad I wasn't relying on it underwater, as it is supposedly intended for.
