Most board shorts hit just above the knee, these are more like mid-thigh. Way too short for the average guy, unless of course that's the look you're going for. Bummer because everything else about them is great!

They fit in the waist and are have enough room, but the legs kind of taper making them a bit on the snug side in the thigh. The do run a bit large. I usually wear a 32 and for the waist to work I had to get a 30 which might contribute to the leg thing. But, for trunks with no lining the tapered style of the leg will keep my privacy intact!
