Because I perceived these ran small per the other reviews, I ordered a C instead of a B, and they were way too long, too much material, so I returned them. I had no problem with the waist, but that is not where I carry my weight. They are very nicely made. The cables hold their shape well, and the sock feature is right. I may try to reorder in the correct size.

The size D was too tight for my 28" waist, so I'm not sure what they were thinking with the sizing. I like the idea of having thicker socks sewn into the boot of the tights, and wanted these to fit.

Size D was nice and long on my 6-foot, curvy, size 12 frame. But I had to send them back because the waistband was way too tight. And my waist is 32"--not exactly large in the size D range!
