5.0 out of 5 stars. These mittens are great!Reviewed by Anonymous from New York on Thursday, January 14, 2016I got these as gifts for my nieces/nephews and they absolutely love them. One of them said that her hands sweated... they were so warm so she took them off and immediately put them back on when she realized how cold it was (barely above zero WCF) without them. She was the envy of her pre-K class, enough so that her mom was asked where she got them so someone else could order them. Who knew that black mittens could be such a hit....

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great, run a little largeReviewed by Mother of 3 from Missouri on Thursday, December 31, 2015Got the 2/3 for my toddler and the 4/5 for my 5 year old. Both are of average size and these fit good, but a little large. I love that they go up their forearm and zip all the way down. Easy to get on little hands that can't always get mittens or gloves on just right. They are definitely warm but not so bulky/cumbersome that the kids tear them off in frustration 10 minutes after playing in them. We have worn them once in the snow and there were no cold hand and no wet sleeves, so they did the job. Not sure about longevity but they do appear very durable, and the retail price would suggest that (although let's be honest, you can never be sure!).
I am going to order the 6/6X for my 7 year old daughter, as well, because I am pretty certain they will fit her (and if not, my younger kids will grow into them). It is SO hard to find good mittens, which in my opinion means they need to be long enough to stay up in the coat sleeves and of course warm, but not overly bulky. The zipper all the way down is also almost a necessity, in my opinion, because even 5 year olds don't always get their mittens/gloves on right. Mittens are also warmer than gloves, so I prefer them. Highly recommend!! Get every size that your kids will eventually use :)
Make sure you unzip them and carefully remove them, the liner is a pain to put back in if it gets turned inside out. -
2.0 out of 5 stars. warm enough, but not satisfied overallVerified Buyer Reviewed by JBC from Wyoming on Tuesday, December 29, 2015I was excited to get these gloves because of the zipper. It is a great feature, but I've found not necessary. I don't like that the gloves don't have little hooks to connect them in pairs. They seem to keep my children's hands warm enough. They started to rip in the palm after just one day of sledding and other light wear. I will be returning these mittens.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Warm and waterproof~Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New York on Monday, March 23, 2015I love that you unzip these mittens, put your kids hands in there and then zip them up. They should make all gloves and mittens like this. Nice long cuffs that go over the coat and prevent ice and snow from getting in. My daughter has worn them once in the snow and her hands stayed warm and completely dry. The only downside is that my daughter likes to wear gloves so that she can maneuver better.

4.0 out of 5 stars. great mittenVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Colorado Springs on Monday, March 16, 2015I got this mitten for my almost three year old. They're easy to put on and they keep her warm in cold weather. The only issue I have is one of the seams started to come undone after the first use. It didn't come undone all the way and I don't think she or my younger son will put enough wear and tear onto them for it to be too much of an issue. Overall I recommend this mitten, it could have just been a fluke.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Hands down , the best gloves for toddlers!Reviewed by stacey from Indiana on Wednesday, February 18, 2015Just used these today for the second time in a week. They are awesome for my 2.5 yr old, not only do they stay on perfectly , they are long and stay up underneath his sleeves. They are also very easy to get on his little hands , the zippers are genius! Would definitely by them again.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice designVerified Buyer Reviewed by 2arthurs from colorado on Tuesday, December 9, 2014These are a nice design with a fuzzy interior. The interior lining is attached to the outer lining so there is no risk of it becoming bunched up inside. They fit a little big for my 3 year old (who is on the smaller side).

2.0 out of 5 stars. Seemed like such a good idea.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Gear Daddy from East Coast on Thursday, December 4, 2014...but they are so long and thick that they dont go under a coat cuff and are too tight to zip over the cuff. Plus there is no clip to keep them together - poor choice for kids.
