5.0 out of 5 stars. High quality light boot

For about the same cost as a made in China with a lot of cloth and foam boot from some company like Keen, you can buy these. Made in Croatia. Lots of real leather. Waterproof with Goretex. Vibram soled. Comfortable. Superior ankle support and still lightweight. These are superior boots in comparison to what you can normally buy at this price point. They run maybe a quarter size on the large side, which means I usually use liners socks with them. Keens usually last for 500 miles or so of hiking. We’ll see how long these go.

Great boots, which fit very well.
Looking forward to putting them to work.
Shopping at Sierra Trading Post was painless...which made me order more from them. I've been very happy, and told my friends.
    Thanks, STP.

Well put together set of hiking boots. Lightweight, comfortable out of the box, attractive, good lacing system, great ankle support...whats not to like? I've heard great reviews of Hanwag and at Sierra pricing I just had to try these. I am not disappointed. These will be my go to light 3 season hikers.

My first Hanwag and totally loving it. No breaking time, fits little big, very strong boot, european made, goretex/vibram/ Fjallraven materials with great leather and not heavy on your feet. STP gave great discount and customer services.

Typical Hanwag quality in a light , very strong approach style boot. Tremendous arch support and just the right padding.
