4.0 out of 5 stars. tougher than regular running shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Kurt from PA on Saturday, August 4, 2018Good construction.
No toe cover means breathes well and light weight. Hopefully not a trade-off for longevity. -
2.0 out of 5 stars. Not impressedReviewed by On the trails from North Carolina on Thursday, April 5, 2018Runs very narrow. Looked great online but seem cheap. Feels brittle, insert is little more than cardboard, and laces are just run through holes punched into the shoes.

1.0 out of 5 stars. No supportVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from atlantic beach fl on Sunday, March 4, 2018The looks fine in every way, except there is no support in the footbed, and zero arch support. By 3rd day both feet are leaning inward. Makes a case to only buy shoes at a brick and mortar place.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Initial assessment goodVerified Buyer Reviewed by JFDATL from Atlanta, GA on Wednesday, December 27, 2017Pacific Trail is a brand I'm not familiar with, and I was a little skeptical, but this is a nice looking shoe, and the price was excellent. The proof will be in the long-term wear, but out-of-the-box, these seem to be solid hiking shoes. The materials all appear to be good quality, and the construction is good. They offer excellent support. The laces are a material that can make them difficult to lace--no smooth "pulling through" of laces--but also probably makes them less prone to come untied. If I were ordering again, I might order half a size up. It's not enough to be uncomfortable or to cause me to return them, but I think a half-size up would have made these about perfect.
