I'm 5'9", 190lbs with broad shoulders and a "dad bod" mid section. I wear large in just about everything. I ordered a large in this pullover and it was too tight for my comfort.

It says on the label that it is 100% (machine washable) wool. Honestly, I was skeptical about this, I have another sweater with a blend of cashmere wool (5%) and cotton (95%) and it looks and feels mighty similar. I have washed it once on a cold gentle cycle and it was fine. The item does seem to come in slightly (very slightly) small. By this I mean that the sweater fits (just). If the sleeves or overall length were any less, then it would not have fitted me correctly. I am 6 ft 1 in and 185 lbs. Usually a large fits me perfectly. i would consider selecting the larger size if I were to buy it again. Just watch out to see if the cut becomes too baggy at the sides if you choose one size up from your usual size. I bought this on sale and I'm happy with it, even if it does come up slightly small. The dark green was a nice color.

I would classify this sweater between light- and medium-weight. I has a good heft to it though. Great price for a 100% wool product. Perfect for cooler to cold days. Good quality. Fit is a slightly on the smaller side for me. I am a standard men's large and wearing a button down under a size large sweater is a little snug for my taste. Fortunately, I bought this with the intention of just wearing a base-layer t-shirt underneath and it's perfect for that.
