Good Light Weight BootVerified Buyer Reviewed by Montana Folks from Montana on Sunday, November 25, 2018I purchased these higher top boots after having a pair of low hiking shoes from this manufacturer. Overall, I am very satisfied with these boots. They are a light weight boot, that ride high above the ankle (a bit taller than I expected). What I like most about this brand after having 2 pairs, is they have a wide toe box (for the bunyon) and a wide heel sole without a wide inside heel cup. This makes the boot more stable and less likely to twist an ankle. The reason for 4 stars vs 5, is that the insole has absolutely no structure nor padding to it. I have replaced it with a better insole that clearly improves the support and fit. I also found with both Lythos boots/shoes, that they run big. I generally wear a women's sz 8 - 8-1/2, but find these to fit perfect in a 7-1/2.

I bought them for my wife and she like them a lot, she have been using them for a couple days for breaking them before our trip to Israel. The only complain is she feel tired and legs sore at the end of the day but I think it is more because she have "Princess feet". I bough gel insoles, I hope this will help her.
