Aspen Strap Sport Sandals (For Women)

I bought these to replace my pair of Chacos that I had owned for the last 12 years that just broke this summer. I have to say I had never heard of this Aspen brand, but after reading the reviews I figured I'd give them a shot. I had purchased them on clearance for $20 (had I waited a few days I could have gotten them for $15, haha, they went down even more in clearance price!).

Honestly, these are WAY more comfortable than my beloved Chacos of 12 years. The foot bed is softer and a little bouncier. A joy to walk in. This sandal also suits the arch of my foot in position and height way better and more comfortably than my Chacos did. The purple color and pattern is super fun too.

I was really glad I read the review that mentioned they run large. I wore a size 9 in my Chacos, and in these Aspen sandals a size 8 fits me perfectly. The straps are not adjustable around the sandal like Chacos would be, the only place you can adjust minimally is the ankle strap, but I didn't require any tightening or loosening of the strap. Like I said, fit perfectly. The traction is pretty decent, but a little slippery initially. These are also SUPER light. I was shocked at how light they are and yet feel supportive.

Only time will tell if these will hold up as long as my Chacos did, but I highly recommend this sandal if you're looking for something sporty and supportive. I'm really impressed by the amount of quality for the price.
