5.0 out of 5 stars. Very Heavy-duty BagVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jeff S. from Arvada, Colorado on Monday, February 18, 2019The material and construction of this pannier bag is very robust, resulting in considerable weight. On relatively flat ground, for short trips, it would be very practical, and outlast almost anything else I have ever seen while protecting the contents well. I bought several pairs of these, because they will make fine shopping bags. It was an extra surprise to find a nice raincover inside each bag. The color matches the other bike cargo items I purchased at the same time.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Overbuilt and heavyReviewed by Dave A. from Monterey, CA on Tuesday, January 8, 2019This was a great deal, purchased as a single side bag to will replace the lightweight pair I gave to my daughter. The bottom is thick heavy rubber and the overall bag is heavy. I don't think I will use this much, partly because of the weight, but it looks like it will work well with groceries, its big, and will be convenient and easy-on-off. Happy it came with a rain cover.

4.0 out of 5 stars. well builtVerified Buyer Reviewed by Test E Cal from Vancouver on Monday, December 10, 2018Quite the bag....large, colour is highly visible, soome reflective exterior marking, solid rubber bottom, interior compartments, handle and optional shoulder strap...weak point is clip system...suggest using small bungee looped through bottom clip compartment to stabilize the bag...zipper also does not track easily

2.0 out of 5 stars. heavyl and awkwardVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from ca on Saturday, December 8, 2018Not a fan. very heavy bag with the connectors for attaching to the bike in the wrong place...too low on the pack(my opinion only) also the connectors are difficult to attach....the upside is this pack should stay put once attached.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Sturdy, roomy bagReviewed by Lindsey from Nevada on Wednesday, October 24, 2018This pannier seems very well constructed - waterproof base is very sturdy, and the rest of the materials and stitching seem durable - in fact, it's almost a bit too heavy (especially if you plan to load it down with groceries or something). I'm a little wary about the two clip system, but it seems to attach pretty well - if you're worried about it bouncing around, an easy solution is to just run a small bungee cord down the side (there's a hole in the zip pocket that covers the hooks) and attach it more securely to the rack that way. Also definitely like that it looks like a semi-respectable bag to carry in to work with me.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful bag, lousy connection methodReviewed by Beth from Ohio on Monday, September 24, 2018First - the Good things - this bag is beautiful, looks incredibly well made, easy to carry off the bike. The big problem is... there are only 2 PLASTIC hooks to connect it to your bike rack. Nothing at the bottom of the bag to connect it to the rack, so the bag flops when you turn, hit a bump, etc. The connection method isn’t completely secure and that can make it fairly dangerous to use. I am returning these bags.

5.0 out of 5 stars. RoomyReviewed by Clarkswife from WI on Wednesday, June 20, 20181450 sq. Inches, still retailing for $120 on the detours website. This pannier attaches via two clips that are HIDDEN behind a zip flap on the padded side of the bag. That becomes a nice feature when you carry the bag full of stuff around, the clips aren't getting caught on everything. But, I have to say...I had a very clueless moment trying to figure out how to attach it the first time. The detours.us website has a nice picture of this feature. There is also a picture of the inside of the bag.
