He is on the shorter end of height, but can easily reach the handlebars & pedals. It arrived in nearly perfect condition. there was a very slight dent in the end of one rear fender that likely happened in shipping, but it was nothing to return it over. He is a boy & I am certain there will eventually be more dents. Since the center of gravity is so low, he is able to ride & turn fast without tipping over. The paint job is good. (Some prior reviews reported lousy paint.) It looks like a quality item. Most of the other brands of big wheel chopper style bikes were all cheesy plastic & cost about the same price. I would highly recommend this bike.
