I returned them for 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly, including the ankle strap. Unlike other sandals in this style, they have some cushioning, making them very comfortable.

The strap fits snugly, doesn't bend or scrunch up (which would be a good thing), even though the strap has 'ribbons' cut into it.
I returned the sandals even though they were very comfortable.- Best Uses: Date Night

The fit is true to size and I have a bit of room around the ankle strap, but that is needed for foot movement when walking. Although they are flat there is quite a bit of cushioning in the heel that makes them very comfortable. I am a big fan of FRYE products and these sandals don't dissapoint. Plus, the great price is an additional bonus!

They are even cuter than the picture, the photo does not capture the lovely graceful quality of the folds of the upper piece. (I am not sure why they call them "two piece", since the upper part is permanently attached.) But they are subtly sparkly, with the gold trim. Did I mention, I LOVE these sandals? The little zipper at the back makes them easy to get in and out of. They were comfy right out of the box. Tons of compliments every time I wear them. I LOVE these sandals!! You only find a pair like this every once in a great while!!!
