Fit is close to the body so if you plan on a heavy sweater size up. I'm a size 10/12 in most clothing and the medium fit me well but I only plan on wearing a turtleneck under it. If I wanted to use as a outerwear jacket I would have ordered a large. Great quality,style, and price.
