2.0 out of 5 stars. DisappointedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Zeuscat from Connecticut on Wednesday, March 11, 2015Love my Teva sandals so was hopeful for these as I like to walk in the woods. The inner sole of this shoe is very firm, almost hard. When walking on a floor it feels as if my foot rolls on the ball of my foot, then the toes hit the floor, instead of a smooth transition. Sadly will be returning them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoes!Reviewed by Pumpkins from CA on Tuesday, March 10, 2015I bought a 1/2 size larger based on other reviews, and it's perfect. Feels like they were made for my feet. With a cushy sock, these are heavenly.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoe for hiking or everyday use!Reviewed by Sierra5 from Nebraska on Sunday, March 8, 2015I bought these shoes a 1/2 size bigger as other reviews suggested and found they were a perfect fit. These shoes were bought for hiking but I wanted to break them in and wear them around. They are so comfortable and look great that it may be hard to designate them as just a hiking shoe. Quality is great and can't be the comfort! The prices on STP can't be beat and I ordered another Teva hiking shoe for a backup pair.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable shoes!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dee from Boone on Monday, February 23, 2015I am a huge fan of Teva sandals, and these shoes are just as comfortable as my many pairs of sandals. They didn't require any "breaking in," either. I usually buy a size 9 in sandals, but went with a 9.5 for these to be sure I had enough toe room. That was a good decision. My feet are wide and I have bunions on both. I was worried about the ribbons that go across the foot because those don't usually stretch and they hit right at bunion level. If the shoes were any narrower I wouldn't be able to wear them, but they fit just fine and don't cause pain.

5.0 out of 5 stars. comfortable right out of the boxVerified Buyer Reviewed by bluebird from Arizona on Thursday, February 19, 2015I'm a size 9 Keen wearer, and size 9 in this Teva fits very well. Good support, great grippy soles. I tested this hiking shoe out on a rocky slope where each step was on uneven and loose rocks. These shoes provided me with solid stability. The price was so good I ordered a second pair.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Shoe!Verified Buyer Reviewed by DDOGS from Dover, NH on Thursday, February 5, 2015I have lots of Tevas, mostly from STP, but they were wearing out finally and I needed new ones. These popped up and are very similar to my old pairs so I thought I would give them a try. They are super lite, great arch and heal cup and nice flexibility. I wore them all day and my feet were comfortable. I will be getting another pair (at lease).

3.0 out of 5 stars. look at midfoot photoReviewed by vickidi from CA on Wednesday, February 4, 2015I ordered these and returned. I see now that the photo shows a mid foot "roller" in the shoe. See the little hand. Very strange-did not feel good on my bunion to walk in this.
Might work for others-just not for me. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Super comfy & lightweight right out of the box!Reviewed by Frugal Yankee from NH on Tuesday, January 13, 2015I was looking for some nice, lightweight hiking shoes for my 12 y-o daughter and myself before our trip to Disney World, something that we could walk for miles a day in and still be comfortable. Out of the box, these are hands-down some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I have foot issues from too many high heels in my youth (shrug). Often, I will buy a wide shoe to give my toes room in the toebox so I don't get rubbing at the base of my big toe (sorry if that's TMI!), but I bought a regular width in these, and these fit PERFECTLY. The toebox is nicely formed and plenty large for comfort, the shoes are lightweight, but unlike minimalist sneakers, the soles feel 'cushioned' and well-supported so my feet don't feel fatigued from long hours of standing. My daughter loves that (in person) these look nicely feminine without being sicky-sweet girlie. (I concur.) She also liked that the sole is slightly curved up at the heel and toe (very slightly, mind you) which seems to make walking easier than a rigidly flat sole. I like how the rear (behind the heel) is lower than other shoes, so while these feel like they have plenty of lateral support once your foot is in, the back doesn't rub on my heel uncomfortably like other footwear I've had. (In fact, I also bought and returned the Teva Garnett hiking shoes for just that reason.) Finally, they actually make our feet look smaller! (Does it get any better? LOL) We wear a 9.0 and 9.5, so that's not typical, but there's something very flattering about the shape/style of this shoe. All in all, we're both thrilled with our purchase. Highly recommended! (Oh, but like other reviewers, the laces can be a little slippery. I plan to buy toggles to put on these to keep them from coming untied, but double-knotting works, too.)
