3.0 out of 5 stars. Runs smallReviewed by Steph from OKC, OK on Sunday, June 16, 2019Ordered a 9 because I am usually either 8.5/9, but I should have ordered a 9.5/10. My toes were touching the end of the shoe and I’ve heard there needs to be a little room for walking downhill. Other than that the shoes felt pretty comfortable. I had to return, though, and by the time I returned, they were out of the larger size. Didn't take them out on the trail.

3.0 out of 5 stars. odd fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from boston on Tuesday, June 4, 2019i really wanted to love this boot, but it didn't quite fit my weirdly-shaped (long and skinny) feet. in spite of tying it tightly, my heel moved around, but my toes also grazed the tip. i didn't want to risk losing my toenails after a long hike, so i sent them back.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Just okVerified Buyer Reviewed by Flyindudette from NH on Monday, April 15, 2019These are just OK. Here you go...
I have bought Merrells for years so when I saw these I expected them to be awesome. I am a size 8 and I read reviews about them running small so I ordered 8.5.
They look awesome. I ordered the browns. In real life they do not disappoint in the looks department.
They run SMALL. Even the 8.5’s didn’t fit. The tip of my big toe fit but the toe box angles back sharply so that my other toes are squashed.
That and they completely lack arch support, which surprised me because they’re merrells. I have super high arches and merrells have never let me down...Until now.
They’re waterproof so in order to make them sealed up they have a very small opening to squeeze your foot into to get them on. You’ve been warned.
The leather and fabric is so thin and...soft? Soggy? Flexible? Lacking support? on these that it literally feels like you are pulling on a plastic bag sock (the waterproofing has a crunchy plastic sound).
I gave them 2 stars because they looked so cool. But I promptly returned them. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Runs smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by N. Varela from Utah on Monday, April 15, 2019I usually wear a size 8 1/2 and I had to go up to a 10 in these shoes. My toes were right at the end of the 9 1/2. Now that I have the right size, I am looking forward to trying them out.

5.0 out of 5 stars. UpgradeReviewed by WarrFam09 from Palm Springs on Monday, March 25, 2019I needed new boots and these have been the best so far! Super lightweight and still supportive. I'm not a crazy hiker but i do carry my 2yo in a backpack carrier and hit some local mountain trails. Some are pretty steep and I haven't lost my footing yet. By far an upgrade from my north face boots that felt like weights! I would buy these in a heartbeat again??

4.0 out of 5 stars. Amazing fit, hope they hold upVerified Buyer Reviewed by Gina from California on Tuesday, March 19, 2019These shoes fit like a dream! Definitely the most comfortable hiking boots I've ever tried on. They do seem a bit on the delicate side though so I hope they hold up to my rigorous uses! Very flexible, not stiff at all, and sole could be a bit thicker. Overall good value.
