It's not that they're the wrong size - they're not. It's that the fabric isn't as elastic as it should be. The legs are sloppy, too. They're going back.

I'm usually a size 10 or 12 and the large in these is loose enough that the medium would probably work, but I can still wear them without issues. I'm 6' tall and they are definitely crop pants on me, but I like that length so not an issue for me. Pockets are great!
