Be sure to order your exact size! I ordered a size that I had used before in a Walls Blizzard Pruff Bib, but this Carhartt Jacket and Bib were way too big. Had to return.

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Lets see

Very large/wide in the body, yet short waisted & sleeved. The "elastic" around the body and sleeve cuffs does little to nothing. Too gapped out to snug up. I ordered a medium and its far too big in the body yet on the verge of too small in length and sleeves so a size smaller would not serve me proper either. Too bad they don't come in a tall in the smaller sizes. Typical carhartt when it comes to stiff as a board able to hold itself up all on its own. Very warm though. Hoping the fit improves as I break it in. We'll see.

Love this jacket! The jacket is windproof and very warm. As soon as I start moving around I have to unzip the zipper. The shell is extremely strong. The hood fits better than any other jacket that I have worn. It sometimes gets in the way if you drive a car with it. Otherwise, the jacket is very well designed. It was a bit stiff but a couple of washes made it a bit softer.

I bought it because it is water resistant and 1,000 denier shell. Haven't tested the water resistance but it is warm and has two interior pockets, one zippered and one touch close. Elastic cuffs and bottom keep elements out. Seconds???? I'll buy them all day. Couldn't be happier.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
