I thought that because they are leather, they would stretch. This is not the case with these boots. Your foot sits below the rubber sole’s top. So it is where the bottom of your foot is below the top of the sole that it is too narrow. Design flaw.

I also love that all those skinny leg jeans won't fight for space around my ankle - I can tuck them in! The shoes were so tight around my midfoot when I got them I worried that they would have to be returned. But I found I could stretch them by putting a ziploc bag of water in them and putting them in the freezer overnight. The water expands when frozen and stretches the shoe. I wore them all day yesterday, and while they're still a little tight, a few more wears and I think they'll stretch to my perfect fit! I bought an 8.5M, which is my normal shoe size.

I would not be able to wear these. They are so nice I am giving them to my sister rather than sending back. I can tell they have a lot of support and have a perfect heel height.

I bought two different sizes and they were the same width. The laces are routed so that as they cross out of the tongue-retainer, they pull the upper out of shape and roll it backwards. It's very unattractive. I thought I would just re-lace them, but the aglets are too big to fit through the eyelets! They were put on after the shoes were finished! Criminy! Just a fail all around and I'm sad because they looked so cute in the picture.

The minute I put the on, I took them right back off. The run extremely narrow and hurt the width of my foot. I typically wear a normal width shoe.
