These are functional and look cute apres bike. I wear these for mountain biking and they are great. Not too short, not too long, comfy on the uphill and long enough for the downhill. Great shorts. For reference, I ordered a 26 waist and normally wear a 2-4 pant size. Enjoy!

However, the downside to these functional shorts: they are missing a zipper or snap pocket for keys, money, trail map. Had I realized this before I purchased them, I would not have gotten them.

Great quality but had to return due to sizingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Michigan on Monday, June 25, 2018Fabric and design were great on these, but they’re cut like a men’s short, for a very straight body type. There was no information on Dakine’s site for where on the body they were measuring the waist and absolutely no hip measurement! FYI I normally wear about a size 12 (31” natural waist and 41” hips) and bought a “32”... it was pleasantly roomy in the hips like I would want for a pair of baggies but about 4-5” too big in the waist. (Garment measured 36 1/2” at the top of the waistband.) The internal adjusters were scratchy (Velcro on your love handles? No thanks) and the fabric just bulged out when it was cinched down.
All in all a really lovely lightweight short but didn’t work for my body. If you can figure out the sizing and have a straighter shape it might work for you.
