5.0 out of 5 stars. Wide size available; works with bunionsVerified Buyer Reviewed by pjtramdack from Western PA on Tuesday, July 14, 2020These are very good boots that would serve most people who hike/ backpack in all but the most challenging situations (carrying a heavy pack in rough terrain). They replaced a pair of 15 year old Asolos that fell apart. I have bunions on both feet that must be accommodated-- that's the first requirement of any boot or shoe I wear. The key in this kind of footwear is getting a wide size (E) with a spacious toe box. The Asolo boots laced almost down to the toe, which allowed for a custom fit once broken in. These Alico boots (13E) fit right out of the box and feel broken in with only a few miles on them. By mixing lacing methods I can leave the Alico looser toward the toe but tighten them sufficiently at the top to provide ankle support. Note that my normal shoe size is 12 1/2 or 13 wide, depending on the design. I always get 'wide' if available, Alico 13E fit me just right with light to medium hiking socks. If I didn't have bunions and usually wore size 12 1/2 shoe, I believe the 13 E would fit with heavy socks. Another nice thing about these boots is they have a classic or even retro appearance. At $145 I think these are a bargain.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent boots!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Alan from New Hampshire on Friday, December 27, 2019This is my third pair of Alico hiking boots. The first two were their Summits, which I still have and are also excellent boots. The only drawback to the Summits is that they're not waterproof, and although I've used various products to waterproof them, they never stay waterproof very long. So when I saw these waterproof Belluno boots, I jumped at the chance to try them out. The fact that they were on clearance and free shipping was offered made it an offer I couldn't refuse!
I wore the boots casually for a couple weeks to soften them up before hiking in them, but they're so well-made and so comfortable that I'm sure I could have hiked with them right out of the box with no issues. These are also lighter than the Summits, so my summer hikes will be more comfortable now. I highly recommend these boots and this brand, Alico. They're extremely reliable, durable, and comfortable. I expect that this pair won't be my last. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Great for light duty everyday work.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Casey Clevenger from Mississippi on Tuesday, December 17, 2019I bought these to replace the usual slip on leather work boots. I am on my feet and outside most days, but don’t require a heavy duty work boot to weigh me down. I thought I’d try a lace up hiking boot as a good fix. What a great idea! These are very durable leather, lightweight, and still waterproof. I love them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable Out Of The BoxVerified Buyer Reviewed by Frank Furter from Western North Carolina on Thursday, October 31, 2019These 2E boots are a good fit for my wide foot. I have a very hard time finding boots wide enough and these are some of the best boots I have ever owned. They are very stable on rocky trails and seemed to breathe well. I wish they had the brown in my size and I would order another pair. These are the first all leather hiking boot I have had in a long time and i do not regret buying them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent Hiking Boot 5+Reviewed by Army Ranger from Virginia on Saturday, September 14, 2019The Belluno boot hits the sweet spot between the heavy leather Summit's and a lightweight synthetic boot. I own the Alico Summit boot - awesome, well-made but definitely on the heavy side. The Belluno is sharp looking and the size is spot-on, but I sized up .5 to wear a heavier sock. Break-in will be much quicker than the Summit's. And the Perwanger Leather is different from any leather boots I've owned - don't use any oil-based/creamy conditioner/cleaner on them. A superior leather as far as I can tell, super durable. These boots will last me many hikes in the Shenandoah's! And the price is right - thanks Sierra for having high quality products at reasonable prices.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Beware Heavier than advertised.Reviewed by Colorado Mountain Man from Colorado on Wednesday, September 11, 2019A nice well made quality boot. In the description size 10’s weighted 2 Lbs 8 Oz. The Men’s 13 M that I ordered weigh 3 Lbs 10.2 Oz on a postal scale. I was hoping for something lighter. I am using them for hiking in the Colorado mountains as well as hunting. I like the all leather design because of stickers, burrs and seed heads are less of a problem. I am going to keep them as they fit well and are comfortable. It is in the 80’s today and they are too warm.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best Boots EverReviewed by Andrew from Michigan on Tuesday, August 27, 2019I simply love these. First off the price was an amazing deal on clearance. I received the boots and tried them on and they were comfortable right out of the box. That's usually unheard of with leather boots, they usually require a breakin period. Not these. Also they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet. True to size, was a perfect fit in my normal size. I couldn't be happier unless they gave them to me for free!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars. They are not as wide as advertisedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jon Cave from Texas on Tuesday, June 4, 2019I have a wide foot and I always have a hard time finding boots that are truly wide. Some companies advertise their boot as a wide but they are not. That's what I found with this boot. It is a well made boot and I like the single wrap-around leather toe so that there is no seams to snag or leak. A very nice sole. But it kills the sides of my feet. I'm not sure what I'll do with my new boots now. Sad.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice for daily wear/dressReviewed by Southpaw from Reno, Nevada on Sunday, May 26, 2019Besides that they were in the local STP retail store for $39, the reason i got them was that I figured I could polish and wear them as dress shoes if needed. replaced the sole with a Superfeet insole (-1 star for the insole). decent ankle support for a lightweight boot. Comfortable for everyday wear with virtually no break-in needed I got these in 10 and run true to size as I am borderline 10.5. I have the Alico Guide boots in 10.5 and they fit better with thick socks and Superfeet. No hotspots and quality Italian build!
