5.0 out of 5 stars. Tall, Heavy and Fits GoodVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Montana on Sunday, December 4, 2016A true over the calf that comes to the knee. It is a nice and heavy sock that should keep the legs warm in winter. And - the top isn't so tight that I can't get it up over calf. Finally a sock that isn't too tight at the top.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very very thickReviewed by TT97 from va on Friday, September 30, 2016Nice socks, even though they are as much acrylic as they are merino (37.5% of both). But they are truly over-the-calf (easily) and probably the thickest socks I've ever seen. Made in Mexico, designed in Spain. Overall a good deal if bought on sale.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Super-Heavy!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Liker-of-Lycra(R) from Buffalo, New York on Wednesday, February 1, 2012Thick, Plush, Warm & Comphy that Wick well & the Lycra(R) make them snug so they stay up & don't bunch. In My Top 3 of the dozen different Lorpen styles I've recently tried. Might run a tad large but still not too large. No real obvious flaws like some other Lorpen 2nds have shown. I'd buy more @ [$] per if I needed more & they were in stock in the Small size.
- Best Uses: Hiking, Hunting, In Boots, Skiing, Winter Play, Winter Work
- Cons: 2nds
- Pros: Heavy, No bunching, No Discernible Flaws, No Sag, Super, Very comphy, Very cushiony, Warm, Wick well
