I thought about getting a helm pad to soak up some of the bumps while running the boat to and from the fishing grounds. Then my friend said "instead of putting padding solely behind the wheel, why not just wear Crocs?" I tried it and it works! They are easy to clean (important for fishing) and spongy enough to soak up the hardness of the fiberglass deck.

Classic Crocs ComfortVerified Buyer Reviewed by Riverman from Wisconsin on Thursday, June 21, 2018I ordered these classic style Crocs because of the great price on Sierra Trading and that they are made in China, the same as the original crocs. Many of the newer Crocs are made in Viet Nam and they are noticeably smaller in size. Actually the dimensions of these Crocs are a couple mm shorter and narrower then then originals. This is probably a plus for most buyers but I have a bunion caused by foot injury and can feel the difference, my old pair have adequate room. Otherwise they are pretty much the same as the originals; comfortable and light.
