This vest is very high quality, a nice weight, lovely fleece and most important: it is longer than normal. I bought an XL for a short woman friend who loves it. I imagine it would link dashing and be just as warm for anyone true to size.

I am small/medium size, and it was still too large. So I would say the size small for this vest is equivalent to a big medium or a large. Also, while the fabric felt soft and looked warm, there was a strange plastic/chemical smell to the it.

The charcoal color is just light enough not to show every speck of whatever like a black vest does, so that's a plus, but still dark enough for when you want such. Recommended.
