I have worn anything from a 6.5 to a 7.5 - or even a 6, but it all depends on the width. The mindens run narrow and short, so I had no luck even when I sized up to an 7.5. I did not try an 8 because I figure it would be like clown shoes once they got too long. Also, though they smell great and come with 2 different shoe laces, they sometimes come with defects. I suppose at this rock bottom price, you can't go wrong, but you also don't want to damage your feet.

Both my daughter and have slim feet size 8.5-9. This boot does need to be broken in; however, the portion that goes around your ankle is painfully stiff. This is why we decided to return it. Also, after my daughter saw the boot in person, she did not like the look of the material - snake skin type. I thought it looked pretty cool, it will allow you to wear it with different colors.

I am keeping it because I bought it at a very low price. The leather and the style are as expected. I rarely return anything back to Sierra Trading Post because their prices are so low, and the qualities are always exceeding my expectations.

They run a tad bit small or just right, if I don't wear a thick sock. They remind me of hikers I had when I was younger. Love that these are made in the USA. Love this company, they make great products that seem to get better with age and wear. The brown is beautiful and the leather is top quality, soft but supportive.

The crackle boots are very odd looking to me, so I have the smooth brown color, which is lovely. I have worn a few times and they are already breaking in nicely. These are nice on my narrow feet.

Put my feet in them and there were no room for my toes! Literally like the smallest area in the front of the boot of any boot I have ever put on my foot. Had to be a defect. Sad. They come with different color shoe laces and look just the way I want them. They are not the most comfortable shoes in the world but I still love them. They have been hard to break in but once they do they are going to be great!
