4.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful but very form fitting - not to layer over other topsReviewed by gotham greenie from NY NY on Saturday, September 7, 2019I have this jacket in a size small. In street clothes I usually wear a size 2: 117 lbs and 5'5" (33 X 25 X 35). But in sports clothing which seem to fall less into vanity sizing I usually wear small, or 4-6, I guess. This jacket seems like it's really not a jacket but a zip front top. It's form fitting. It's even snug on my upper arms and I'm fairly slender there: no big guns (I wish). I'd like to be able to wear this as a layer to pack and put on if it should start to rain or get really windy, because I'd probably not choose to go riding if it's windy and rainy but sometimes get caught by surprise. It's doubtful I could get this over another layer comfortably. The construction and fabrication are excellent. And I LOVE the color combo. It's cut to fit shorter across the front between the shoulders and longer across/between the back shoulders - great for a wind/rain bent over the handlebars cycling but weird to also to wear it standing up straight and walking around. Putting my shoulders back and standing up straight it pulls a little across the chest. I'm concerned about wearing it if the temp drops as I don't think it will be able to accommodate a layer underneath. I've debated too long about exchanging for a size medium as it looks my window of exchange has passed. I got an amazing price, though so I will try to use it. I will look super cool in it and I expect there will some Spring and Fall days where it will be perfect. Surely a pro rider will know exactly when and where to best wear this - it's pretty clear I'm amateur.
