The come slightly higher on the ankle then the lighter weight running socks from SmartWool and these have much more padding in the sole of the sock. Very nice socks if you are looking for ones with a little padding in them.
They are 2nds and one of the pairs I ordered actually came with 2 different sizes, or that's the way it seems as one sock fits considerably looser than the other one. -
