4.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful Boots - Odd FitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mountain Nole from San Francisco on Thursday, November 13, 2014These are absolutely beautiful shoes and, if they fit your feet, you'll be very pleased with the quality. DON"T LISTEN to all the reviews - try them on yourself. Based on the comments that they were narrow, I erred on the side of going a bit bigger. The UK 9 (I usually wear a US 10) was huge on my foot, specifically in the toe box. Unfortunately there are none left in 8.5 UK so they will have to go back to STP. In my opinion, these are no more narrow than anything else on the market. I guess most of the customers have fat feet!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Review Tricker's Langston Wingtip BootsReviewed by John's Feet from Michigan on Thursday, October 31, 2013The quality of this Wingtip Boot is outstanding and reflects the above average suggested retail price. The UK sizing is a challenge. Some recommend ordering a half size smaller for US sizes and others recommend a full size smaller. I ordered a half size smaller and found it too large for my foot. When I ordered a full size smaller it was too small and I had to return to Sierra for a refund. The width of the boot was ok but but toe width is a bit narrow. I concluded that the design did not work for my feet. I did not want to return them because I loved the boots but the fit was not for me. Sierra has a wonderful return policy but I did end up paying a return shipping fee.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Superb Boots!Reviewed by Findoc from Arkansas on Monday, September 2, 2013These dress boots are beautifully made of fine calf leather, a work of art--or old-fashioned artisanship. They fit fine, though required a little wearing in. They are a bit narrow and long; every pair of English shoes I've bought except Clark's) have run long. I think that's just how the lasts are made. I measure a 10 D and bought the size 9 med. Some conversion charts call for sizing down a half size, but I've found a full size to work best.

5.0 out of 5 stars. So now I have them allReviewed by CtheB from Around on Sunday, July 7, 2013I have now got these in every color in my size. That's 10UK to fit my usual 10.5 boot size (with medium thick wool socks). These boots are amazing. They can be dressed up or worn more casually, and yes, they are good for walking in the field with proper care -(I use oebernaufs, and haven't yet needed a colored polish). I own the famous Trickers Stow, and prefer these for day to day, work (office), and around town in poor weather. The Stows serve as hiking boots when I plan to go somewhere nice with the wife afterwards, but these boots from Sierra are sleeker and are better for wearing with business casual clothes, and go just fine with dress pants. The leather is thinner on these than on my Stows, but have no fear, these are tough boots, and they look just as great with miles of travel as straight out of the box. Unless you wear some sort of ultrasleek dress shoe, like a high end italian, or work in an environment where people know the difference between a balmoral and a blucher (why did you go to law school?) then these can easily be worn when you would normally wear an American-made or British-made dress shoes (or especially if you don't even know where your dress shoes were made). It should be noted that, as in the pictures, the beechnut color is a leather sole, while the rest have the Dainite rubber sole. And the fit- fantastic.

5.0 out of 5 stars. great bootsReviewed by N W from Connecticut on Friday, May 24, 2013This is my second pair of Trickers boots from STP. I got a pair of the espresso with the dainite sole and love them; they're well-made, handsome, and comfortable. For the UK sizing, I went a half size down from my American shoe size and it fit perfectly. For those wondering, these boots are very similar to Trickers popular "Stow" model, but a little narrower and with no storm welt. Very good boot for the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful ShoeReviewed by Crazy traveling fool from on Monday, April 8, 2013These are excellent boots, and you are definitely buying a quality product if you choose to purchase these.
Pros: excellent leather, well constructed, feel lighter than they are, excellent brogue
Cons: footbox is slightly narrow (typical for English shoes); sole is not welted
Overall: Well worth the investment, especially with a good coupon. Order these in the same size as your Edmund Allens or Aldens and you should be fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars. FantasticVerified Buyer Reviewed by Conak from NJ on Monday, December 31, 2012These are stylish, comfortable, and have a great finish. You can sense the quality of workmanship and materials. I sort of wish they had a storm welt, and they could've gotten away with a slightly thicker sole, both options being in line with what a country boot such as this would normally have, but I guess they were going for a sleeker look. Definitely worth the stp price.
As for sizing, I ordered 0.5 size smaller than my normal BOOT size 10.5 US, 44.5 EU, and these size 10UK fit perfect with the medium thickness wool socks that I normally wear with boots. I have a wide foot, but these
