5.0 out of 5 stars. comfortable shorts

I bought 36-38 waist instead of 32-34 since I'm a 35. Wish they had a 34-36. This would be a better fit and the length may have been better too. These are very comfortable but with the lack of pockets, may not be so great for the trail.

I normally do not opt for the 2-in-1 type shorts but being a fan of Mountain Hardware I decided to give these a shot.

I love the zipper pocket on the right leg. It is great when hiking since it is out of the way of the waist strap on my pack. It also works well when just heading to the gym to hold a phone and wallet.

The flap interior pocket and rear fold over pocket could be useful for small items like gu's or chews when running or day hiking but I almost never use them. They shorts are a good length that comes just above my knee (Medium, 5'10").

The shorts are very flexible and I never have an issue with maneuvering. I've worn them for everything from day hiking, back pakcing, bootcamp, weightlifting, and running.

The liner is soft though I wish it were a little thinner to aid in drying faster. Drawstring waist to lock them in place when needed.

Overall they are great shorts and I now own several pair.

Nice swimming pants. Weird side pocket; faces backward. Not sure if that's because they're seconds or?
