After the second time wearing one pair, the heel came off, unglued from the base of the shoe. They are comfortable and warm but not reliable due to the heel.

I purchased these for my son who loves walking in wet places and wading in the creek year round. They are too big now, but he wears them anyway and likes them so far. He recommends them, but not as winter boots because the tops can not be pulled close enough to the leg to keep the snow out. -
