4.0 out of 5 stars. Good quality casual jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by TalusTerrapin from SAN DIEGO on Tuesday, February 19, 2019This is a good quality casual jacket that could round out your wardrobe. The jacket is pretty light but does shed wind quite well. The main problem I have is that this jacket runs quite large. A Medium jacket wears more like a L or XL. I'm holding on to it and will likely modify the jacket so that it fits more true to size. Cotopaxi products usually fit true to size but, for whatever reason this one runs very large. Beyond that, I think it's a good product worthy of your consideration. Definitely leans more metro than rural but would be appropriate in either situation.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome PieceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from California, treeside on Thursday, November 29, 2018I would say the closest thing I own to this is the Patagonia Nano Puff jacket. It's similar in down pattern but the Patagonia is synthetic while I believe this Cotopaxi is 50/50 synthetic and real Alpaca.
It's slightly less warm than the Nano Puff but it is more fashionable and diverse I would say. Plus at the STP price, much much cheaper.
I found it to fit true to size if you plan to button it up; however, if you plan to wear it open all the time I do suggest sizing down.
The only thing that is left to be desired is a more modern cut. At first I really
The Nano Puff is much more slim at the waist while the Kusa Shirt does not have a taper and stays boxy all the way down (so cold wind can shoot up while being worn closed)
Overall for the price I paid ($60) a really great piece -

5.0 out of 5 stars. Warm, durable, stylish shacketReviewed by Warren from San Francisco on Wednesday, September 19, 2018Been a fan of the Kusa line of Cotopaxi of colorful jackets, blankets and the Sueño fifteen sleeping bag. Had never seen the Kusa shacket until the guide on a backcountry trip in the Sierras wore one. The combination of 50% llama hair/50% synthetic insulation, plus the stylish good looks gave the piece instant street cred. Yeah, I had to try it on, and boy was the thing WARM. So when these showed up at STP, I had to get all the colors. The only shacket comparable is TNF’s Lost Coast/Reyes Thermoball, frankly, the Kusas leave them in the dust. No discernible cold spots because the insulation shifted or compacted. As for sizing, I am 5’7” 138 and generally appreciate the slim small of Patagonia, however, Cotopaxi is more generously sized, not a loose cut, but more of an athletic cut that allows for layers underneath.
