I thought they were the same product but was mistaken. Point6 Surefoot Ultralight Compression Socks - Merino Wool are compression socks and these are not. Decent socks but not as good of support as the Point6 Surefoot Ultralight Compression Socks - Merino Wool. That product is no longer available on Sierra Trading.

I love them and work on my feet all day. They do provide a good amount of compression. I have heard people say how hot and uncomfortableness "true" compression socks are but these felt great. Just enough compression to decrease swelling and very comfortable.

They are NOT compression socks and are inaccurately titled that way in the product description. I ordered three pair and returned two of them because they are not as described. Nowhere on the product packaging do they say they are compression socks either. They are over-the-calf ultralight ski socks. Because they are ultralight, they can be worn as an everyday sock, not just for skiing or snow sports. They are not a bad product (hence why I kept one pair), just not what they advertised.
