5.0 out of 5 stars. Great set up with lots of possibilitiesReviewed by listeningtotherain from Texas on Saturday, May 3, 2014This is a great little single AAA light with head strap set up. For the head strap set up, it is adequate for the home, construction, or moderate hiking/backpacking/camping use. I have not tried it with extreme temperatures and would not depend my life with this. but for normal use, it is more than appropriate. The flashlight only has one mode but is bright enough for the average use.
The best part is that you can get your favorite, more sophisticated single AAA flashlight and use the headband with that. It will be very flexible option and you can even have back up flashlight or use the flashlight in your pocket, and use it with the headband when the headlamp option is applicable.
Nutnfancy uses a Fenix headlamp band with a Foursevens CR123 powered flashlight. but he abuses them in extreme conditions. This Primus set up is great option for us average folks, and is much more affordable too.
I only wish the part of the head strap that connects to the flashlight is metal so it would be more durable. but so far this set up has not led me down. -

1.0 out of 5 stars. Bound to FailReviewed by ffeingo2 from Lee, Massachusetts on Wednesday, October 9, 2013Faulty design
of bracket depends on non-adjustable plastic ball and socket to maintain orientation of the light. Only good for very gentle in home use; peering inside a clock or model railroad engine. Light by itself adequate for in purse or handbag. But there are much better ones out there in your hardware or convenience store. hard to believe that this is from Primus. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Head LampReviewed by Roca steve from Nebraska on Wednesday, October 9, 2013Use it for taking my dog to his kennel at night and it really gives off a good beam... May use it on some night bicycle ride..

3.0 out of 5 stars. Good OverallReviewed by Pack Time from Atlanta, GA on Thursday, September 19, 2013Not a bad little flash light - though tricky to know how to set it up and turn on and off. We've kept ours in the car and kitchen and love using it for small tasks we need some extra light for.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Little Light!Reviewed by Man on the run from Indiana on Monday, August 5, 2013Excellent size and performance. All accessories work really well, and unit seems to be very durably made! Use it when running Front Of House audio for live bands, for signaling, and just generally when I need some light! Very reliable and so compact and easy to wear around the neck/ headstrap/ or carry. Would highly recommend to anyone!
