Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. good, warm, affordable

I credit these boots 5 stars rather in advance as I got it in early September. If the threads are not rotten and the leather quality is as good as I expected the boots will last for a long while. The boots are fully shearling lined including the toebox and footbed although the quality of wool maybe not the top notch. The leather is thick but the boots are comfortable right out of the box...well I would prefer somewhat thinner or softer leather in the tongue. What I find strange is fancy white stitching, but I plan to Obenauf the lower, leather, parts of the boots anyway. True to size (at least in my segment, 8.5).
Regarding the statement "Made in United States of America" - I do not know as there is no any such statement on boots themselves.
Bottom line: if they are durable enough to last for 4-5 years I give them 5 stars, and less if not.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. great winter boots - got a second pair!

Basically, this is update to my prior review. I have been surprised that this boots are still available, and grabbed one more pair. This well made warm shearling-lined boots at this closeout price is a steal!
This boots look maybe not stylish for a city dude but they are great winter boots. Yes they are not wide as one would expect E width should be, but they are roomy enough, so this time I ordered 1/2 size smaller, but I know it will be OK with thinner socks.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Boots

These boots were very comfortable right out of the box. The shearling lining is very soft, but doesn't make the boots hot, which was a concern when I ordered. They fit true to size as well.
