5.0 out of 5 stars. It's not a poncho!Reviewed by Gwenakinyi from Bellingham on Tuesday, September 24, 2013Finally, a tailored activewear raincoat! I've worn iterations of the M. Precip for 10 years, and it has always fit like a box, with too much extra fabric around the middle. This jacket has a trim fit. Medium fits perfectly, and my down sweater barely fits under it. A fleece is a bit too bulky. Go a size up if you plan to layer. It's super lightweight, and the fabric feels nice and breathable. I can sweat a bit without feeling like I'm wearing a plastic garbage bag. However, I haven't yet worn it in a hard rain. The local gear shop carried some samples of this jacket a few months ago, and he said to reapply spray-on waterproofing every dozen uses, more often for this fabric than traditional shells. He did not recommend wash-in waterproofing, because you don't want to waterproof the inside layer. Just the outside.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great jacket at a great priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by healthyrunner from St. Albert, Alberta, Canada on Thursday, November 22, 2012I ordered this jacket for an upcoming Ultra Race in Iceland and there is potential for wet, rainy weather. I wanted something that was light weight since I will be carrying all my gear, but needed a jacket that would be truly waterproof and breathable. I did my homework on the rating systems for both and this jacket should be perfect. It is perfect for layering and breathes exceptionally well. I have worn it in some -20 Celcius training runs and layered it works great. I haven't tested the waterproof yet as i'm dealing with snow at the moment, not rain, so far it has more than met expectations.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Finally....a waterproof jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hiker from Vermont on Monday, September 24, 2012I wore this in the White Mtns with horizontal rains and winds and remained completely dry. Ordered the large and it fit but runs a little snug. Really not much room for any layers underneath. (I usually wear a women's med/large. The jacket moves well, not restricting.
- Best Uses: Downpours
- Cons: Runs Small, Zipper Was Fussy At First
- Pros: Comfortable, Waterproof

5.0 out of 5 stars. Fabulous jacket!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rainy Days from Portland OR on Monday, September 17, 2012I love this jacket! I was hesitant, there's so many to choose from, but I am so glad I did get it. The only thing which I didn't mind is that the black is not black at all but dark blue. So, don't order black because you'll get blue!
It fits perfectly, not too small and enough room to wear a sweater under it. It's very light weight and easy to pack or carry around. Completely waterproof, even zipper is! Really happy to have bought it!- Best Uses: All year wear, Every day use, Hiking, Walkling
- Cons: Black Is Blue
- Pros: Comfortable, Fits great, Rugged, Stylish too, Waterproof
