I was surprised that these running shorts do not have an inner liner. I was also surprised that the back side of the shorts are white which I did not notice in the pictures. The shorts do have a nice soft texture for running shorts.

First, the "mesh lining" is not a built in brief like most running shorts have. Second, I don't like flaring pockets on my running shorts. Third, the back side is white which you really don't want when you get sweaty. If you sit down, it will show every bit of dirt. Other than that, the material seems good.
