If you look closely, you can see that they are not real leather--but real leather is becoming "not cool," anyway, so no problem. Very happy I purchased them.

They are simply adorable and it’s very hard to tell they are not leather. They are comfortable right out of the box and a size 9 fit true to size for me (40 euro). I have skinny ankles but these don’t look like they’re too loose or wide at the top. I also got the standard calf height “gaucho” version of these from the same brand and those are much clunkier and look less like leather. If you’re trying to decide between the two, these are better in terms of classiness.

Lightweight, supportive and functional, I would recommend these to anyone looking for a cowboy boot but does not want one the goes up high on the calf. The side zipper works well and the insole in comfortable.
