4.0 out of 5 stars. Fooled meVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hiker Bud from Iowa on Monday, November 9, 2015Looked from the pictures like you could take the water holding baskets off as needed. You cannot. They adjust for size, but do not come off...
Good for when we need to carry something, but not a lot. Good for our 90 minute jaunt through the woods if we need to carry a phone and other little stuff. Even a thin jacket won't fit in the pouch.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Small pack, holds essentialsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Queen of Cats from Arizona on Sunday, September 20, 2015This is a nice little lumbar pack that I purchased for short hikes while my back and neck recover from a recent injury. The water bottle holders are quite unique, using just enough material and Velcro straps to hold water bottles in place. Bottles are easy to slip in and out without losing your stride and a variety of sizes will fit. The main pocket is just large enough to hold a compact jacket and a nutrition bar. The belt has two smaller pockets that fit my compact, not so smart phone, keys, lip protector, etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars. PrefectReviewed by Willow Walker from Toledo, Oregon on Saturday, July 27, 2013What can one say about one of the best design lumber packs on the market. It works great for my needs. I can carry water, a dog water dish and clean-up bags. I realize it's for ultra-runners, but it works great for us less inclined.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice and comfortableReviewed by Anonymous from Arizona on Tuesday, April 16, 2013This pack is very well designed, comfortable and lightweight. It fits the body well. It holds two water bottles, and the water sacs adjust with velcro in case you have an oversize bottle. I only wish that the main zipper compartment was large enough to hold a small field guide, but that might compromise the comfort. Otherwise, there's plenty of room for whatever else you might want for up to a half day hike. I'm pleased with it.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect for day hikes.Reviewed by Tabitha from Colorado on Monday, March 4, 2013I wore this for the first time on a 2 hour hike. It carried 2 bottles of water and several other hiking necessities, cell phone etc.! It was very comfortable and I didn't feel I was carrying extra weight until I took it off ! I just wish that at least one of the zip pockets had been bigger - but then i would have carried more and possibly felt the extra weight! Highly recommend.
