5.0 out of 5 stars. just the ticket for hiking in the mountainsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Nettie from Pennsylvania on Thursday, August 8, 2019Thin, light but warm base layer. Great thumb holes and other details. Fits true to size (not loose).

4.0 out of 5 stars. Decent base layerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Always cold from Seattle on Wednesday, February 27, 2019Runs a tad bit small so if you do not like a very snug fit order s size up. The shirt is lightweight so i was able to wear it under a tee-shirt just fine and it did keep me warm.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Weird bunchiness around the neckReviewed by ditchdakine from NY on Sunday, February 10, 2019Similar to a prior customer's review, I had to return this as the material around the neck was way too bunchy. The sleeves and chest/waist fit nicely and the material is super soft. However, the neckline (both back and especially front) was super loose. It looked like it was a mock neck shirt gone awry... I had to return it sadly. It would be fine if you wear under something else, but if you wear it alone, it may look funny.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Odd cut in shoulders and neckReviewed by Julie M from Colorado on Saturday, February 9, 2019First of all, the positive: It is warm, especially for its light weight. You can definitely notice that when you first put it on or take it off. That's what I wanted it for. I work at a ski area, and love these lightweight, wool-blend base layers, and I have several in different brands. I'm pleased with the pure functionality of this one, and I think it would be a good base layer to take on backpacking trips into the mountains in the summer as well.
However, it does have an odd fir for me. I generally wear a small, and I first ordered that size, but I had to send it back. The fit was very tight around the shoulders and in the arms, but there was a lot of weird, loose fabric around the neck at the same time. I sent that back and ordered a medium, thinking it would fit better, which it does, although still somewhat weird. The arms are more comfortable and from the chest down it hangs nicely, snug but not tight. But the shoulders are still a little tight, there is still some bunching up of fabric around the neck in a weird way, and, for me at least, the "thumb holes" in the sleeves seem to naturally lie on the pinkie side of my hand, not the thumb. I am ok with that because that's a feature in base layers I never use anyway.
So I like it as a base layer for its warmth and comfort, but would probably not wear it alone because it looks goofy. The product description doesn't say if this is a closeout or a second, but I'm maybe suspecting these are seconds, because Neve still sells this model and color on its website. They are ridiculously expensive at their retail price, however, and based on what I experienced with the fit on this one, I would not buy another one of their products, at either the retail or discounted pricing. Just not quite right. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Love the fitVerified Buyer Reviewed by It's not about the weather from Minnesota on Wednesday, January 30, 2019It is as soft and comfortable as advertised. Easy to wear. Fantastic base layer for any activity. Pretty enough to wear alone.

2.0 out of 5 stars. UnflatteringReviewed by Nina from MN on Saturday, January 26, 2019I suppose this is a base layer meant to be worn under other things--i.e., not meant to be seen. But I found the seaming around the top to be unflattering for someone with a C/D size chest, and the fabric itchy and thin. It's hard to believe the original retail price for this one. I returned it.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not for meVerified Buyer Reviewed by Nodnyc from Brooklyn, NY on Monday, December 31, 2018I didn't like the tone on tone patterning in this top...it seems to fight the actual cut of the top and throw the visual line, particularly around the neck and shoulders.
