3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice but fragileReviewed by RT from Central Texas on Sunday, February 21, 2016I bought two of these shirts and really like them. Problem was when I washed them one came out with a bunch of holes. I washed on gentle cycle using nix wax wool wash. The other six items came out fine it was just the one shirt. I contacted STP and they were great. I was able to return for store credit. Not sure what the problem was with that one shirt but the other is fine.

3.0 out of 5 stars. photo doesn't show 2-tone color designVerified Buyer Reviewed by theo from portland, ME on Saturday, November 7, 2015be careful, in the photo it looks like all one color gray, but the side panels are a contrasting much lighter gray, and a slightly different material. side panel material has a less 'finished', softer surface, a more open weave. stitching is pretty contrasty too, so overall it's pretty sporty, not as I hoped.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Another Great Merino Wool ProductVerified Buyer Reviewed by Donald from Arizona on Wednesday, October 28, 2015This shirt look great and fits good. I'm 6'2" and 175, large was the right size for me, could have worn a medium if I wanted it a little tighter.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent hiking base layerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rick from Arizona on Thursday, June 4, 2015Very good hiking base layer up to about 80 or 85 degrees. A little warm over that. I soaked this in sweat during a heavy climb in the sun on a backpacking trip, and my wife could still stand the smell of me. Very high quality construction.

5.0 out of 5 stars. NICE!Reviewed by Anonymous from Colorado on Wednesday, October 16, 2013What can I say...this is one of the nicest shirts I've purchased. I use it as a base layer for hiking. It's thin so I can wear it in the summer and during the winter it doesn't add any bulk as a base layer. If it's a cooler summer day or fall and dry I'll wear it under a cotton t-shirt to "extend" its range somewhat. For the price it's a must as part of your outdoor clothing system. Extremely comfortable and versatile!
